Preserve, narrate and create musical instruments history!
The Museum of Musical Instruments History “BarabanZA” was created in September 2016 on the basis of the NGO “Business Technologies and Culture Development Center”, which operates in Zaporizhzhia since 2003.
The creation of the museum was preceded by years of experience in holding ethno musical educational events, collecting ethnic instruments by members of the organization and participation in museum projects supported by the Goethe-Institut in Ukraine.
Today, in the collection of the museum there are more than 500 exhibits: musical instruments, accessories for instruments, relevant literature, media library, etc.
Our museum is distinguished first of all by the fact that we strive to keep not only material objects of cultural heritage, but also to preserve live traditions of making musical instruments and playing on them.
We believe that every person has his own instrument of the soul, which is best suited for physical and emotional data. We are glad to help you find such instrument, learn how to make it by your own and to play on it!
